He travels the world leading, teaching, and training on leadership and musical worship. Ayanda features on numerous podcasts like “The Worship Initiative” and features on various TV and radio stations. He is the author of Aya and ABBA. Ayanda serves as the Central Worship Pastor at Woodside Bible Church”

Cassie Thompson
Weekday Mornings

Cassie Thompson (the “Radio Diva”) is a Woman of Faith. A graduate of the Moody Bible Institute with a focus on Biblical Studies, Cassie is a Speaker, Teacher, and licensed Real Estate broker (in her spare time😊).

She is a wife, mother, and “nana". She currently serves full-time at The Moody Bible Institute and is featured on Urban Praise Radio weekdays from 7:00 am – 10:00 am CST. She loves writing, interior decorating, thrifting, doing voice-over work and most of all, encouraging the body of Christ.

Cassie’s life verse is found in Galatians 2:20:
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, vwho loved me and gave himself for me.

Tyree Foster

Tyree Foster, better known as "Reverend T.Y", is a member of Progressive Life-Giving Word Cathedral under the leadership of Apostle Donald Alford, and he sings faithfully in the church choir. He is also a member of the Stellar Award nominated Pastor Darius Brooks and The Tommies Reunion Choir.

He is the host of "Sending Up the Praise" on Urban Praise Radio from 10 am - 12pm CT weekdays, and "Saturday Gospel Music Brunch" from 12 - 4pm CT

He loves to travel, hanging out with family and friends, singing gospel music, and God's Word. Tyree, an energetic radio personality has worked with Urban Praise since 2017 and is committed to spreading God’s Word through the ministry of gospel music. He always encourages listeners to ‘take the Lord everywhere you go!’

Effie Rolfe
Inside Your Midday

A radio personality for nearly three decades, Effie Rolfe is best known as the former host of the No. 1 Sunday morning gospel music program in Chicago. Before radio, she briefly sang with Grammy Award-winning Rev. Milton Brunson & the Thompson Community Singers.

The former Entertainment Columnist for several newspapers and online magazines interviewed major gospel music artists and various celebrities. The Arkansas native has received the Media Mogul and Gospel Trailblazer awards and hosts events, speaks at churches and women’s conferences, and is a self-published Author. Currently, she is Program Director for UrbanPraiseRadio.org that received a Stellar Award for Best Internet Gospel Music Station of the Year in 2014.

Effie can be heard on weekdays 12p, Saturdays on the Moody Network and Music for Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. CT on WMBI 90.1 FM.

Roy Patterson
Weekdays Early Afternoon

Roy Patterson is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute and Trinity International University. He is the host of Music for Sunday, and Urban Praise. He is a pastor, praise and worship leader, arranger and vocalist. He has led praise and worship internationally and has a strong passion for biblical diversity. Roy served as a youth pastor for 10 years and has provided substance abuse counseling to youth and adults. In January 2011, Roy was appointed station manager for 90.1 FM Moody Radio in Chicago. He was recently appointed as the Special Assistant to the President of Moody Bible Institute for Community Relations. Roy has been married to his wife, Lynette, for over 40 years, and has three children.

Tabi Upton
Weekday Late Afternoons

Tabi Upton is a speaker, writer, trained counselor, and cohost of the show Mornings with Tom and Tabi on 88.9 FM Moody Radio Chattanooga. She hosts Urban Praise Radio, from 3-5pm CT weekdays. Tabi leads a group of single Christian women called WOW, Women of Wisdom, where she inspires them to enjoy happiness-enhancing activities. She loves to garden, travel, read, and watch foreign films.

La’India Cooper

Moving directly from college student to Communications Professional, La’India Cooper was blessed to receive a job in her field of study. Leveraging the unique lessons she learned from her church home Glory To Glory Family Christian Center and her undergrad and grad school Journalism programs – La’India made a seamless transition into the Communications field. La’India Cooper is a dynamic leader in her church. She started her own live worship program titled “Worthy Wednesday” where she shares the good news of Jesus Christ to all who are willing to listen. From the South Side of Chicago, Englewood La’India is passionate about being a light in her community, people, leadership and Christ.

Rachael Adebiyi
Weekday Late Nights + Sunday Afternoons

Meet Rachael Adebiyi, aka Rae Rae, the cheerful presenter from London, England. With a warm and friendly personality, she began her radio journey in 2014, hosting shows on the popular UK radio station, Premier Radio. Beyond radio, Rae Rae extends her passion to TV, presenting shows and conducting interviews on TBNUK, as well as hosting Christian events. As a gospel artist, Rae Rae grew up singing in church and has released her own songs, which have encouraged many people around the world.
