The FM Translator on 100.1 FM rebroadcasts our Satellator from 90.5 FM in Huron and can also be heard in Hitchcock, a small rural community of 100 people. Carpenter is an unincorporated small rural farming community in Clark County which is located about 25 miles northeast of Huron, South Dakota. Carpenter strides the line separating Clark and Beadle Counties on Highway 28. Despite its small size of one square block, businesses such as Wheat Growers, The Carpenter Café, Dick's Garage and the Post Office flourish here. One attraction in Carpenter is a Bed and Breakfast with a real working ranch that is both quiet and out of the way with plenty of opportunities to watch the birds, cattle, and buffalo. Owen Gross is the President of Huron Christian Radio and lives in Carpenter, with his family where he is a farmer by trade.
