Moody Radio started broadcasting in the Quad Cities in 1960 between Coal Valley and Orion, IL. The station was granted the call letters WDLM after D.L. Moody, the founder of Moody Bible Institute. Moody Radio continues to be a leading source of Christian talk, featuring a dynamic mix of programming including Bible teaching, news, call-in programs, and music. Reaching a potential audience of over 500,000 people throughout southeast Iowa and northwest Illinois, WDLM is owned and operated by Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL., and was the third Moody station to hit the airwaves.
