Volunteers are invaluable to Moody Radio, providing essential support to our ministry. As representatives of our ministry, our volunteers play a crucial role in promoting our stations at conferences, expos, concerts, festivals, community gatherings, and various events. Their presence at these events helps spread the word about our station and ministry to potential listeners. Our volunteer community is wonderfully diverse, encompassing all age groups (18 years and older), various backgrounds, and different Christian faith denominations. What unites us all is a heart for service and a deep love of Jesus Christ.
That is completely up to you. You can volunteer as little or as much as you would like, depending on your schedule and our needs. We value our volunteers and believe that each one brings a God-given skill that strengthens us as a team.
Typically at on-site events, we set up a booth to introduce ourselves to the community and promote our ministry work. You might be involved in setting up, tearing down, or decorating the booth or tent, passing out promotional materials, promoting a drawing, facilitating a game or activity, praying with attendees, or greeting and chatting with visitors. When listeners want to share how our ministry has positively affected their lives, you act as the “in-the-moment” face of Moody Radio. We value our listeners and want each of them to feel connected to our community. That’s why the role of our volunteers is so vital. We need dedicated individuals in our geographic markets to connect with them on our behalf, ensuring that everyone feels a part of the Moody Radio family.
Our events take place all over the Chicagoland area, including its suburbs and into Northwest Indiana. Chances are that there will be something near your home, making it accessible and convenient for you to volunteer.
Our ministry is dedicated to serving the body of Christ by broadcasting radio programs that spread the gospel message far and wide. Being a part of this mission is both rewarding and fun!
