How to Thrive as a Father Despite the Challenges
Fathers, and especially working dads, sometimes find it difficult to be in-the-moment and engage productively with their children. Gary Schneeberger is Assistant to the President of Media Relations at Focus on the Family. He points out that step one is to simply be there. Dads living purposefully with a deep commitment to their children is a trait to admire. Gary provides some practical steps on how to do that well.

Elizabeth Woodson is a Bible teacher and author who is passionate about equipping believers to understand the rich theological truths of Scripture. She loves helping people internalize their faith and connect it practically to everyday life. Elizabeth is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary with a Masters in Christian Education, the host of the Starting Place podcast, and she is a keynote speaker for the Called Conference at Moody Bible Institute on April 12th.

In terms of content concerns, parents won’t find anything here that wasn’t in the original. The Evil Queen herself is still quite cruel. The enchanted forest is just as haunting as the original. Persecution Continues in Syria
Todd Nettleton with Voice of the Martyrs provides an update from Syria on Christians there. Apparently, the new government now has a constitution that promises religious freedom…but also says the leader of the country must be a Muslim and that Islamic law will be the source of all legislation; which doesn’t exactly sound like religious freedom. Todd also gives an update from China, and encourages you to pray for Muslims to meet Jesus during this month where as they celebrate Ramadan.
