MusicDr. Joannie DeBrito is a counselor with Focus on the Family. Joannie was asked if there are ways to make a resolution that actually sticks. Practical examples point to making a resolution that is realistic and attainable; bite-size chunks with rewards along the way are helpful. Dr. DeBrito also mentioned letting go of some previous goals...and there are also relationships that could fall into that category as well.
Brian Evans and Tom McElligott are friends whose relationship centers around a stolen lawnmower. Tom's lawn mower was stolen. And no, Brian did not steal it. But he heard the story on the air and purchased a replacement for Tom, simply because he didn't want that to be a lasting impression of what happens when you move to the Tennessee Valley. Over the years it has become a friendship of 'iron sharpening iron' that grew intentionally.

Questioning your own knowledge and experience? Along with co-author Sam Luce, Hunter Williams believes theology doesn’t have to be “too deep for kids” or taught “by professionals.” CLICK HERE For more information or to order copies of How to Teach Kids Theology: Deep Truths for Growing Faith.
Adam Holz with Plugged-In engages Tom in a conversation about the impact of media on our culture. In younger days, the concerns were centered around primarily around music and lyrics. Now the issues are centered on screens and social media content. But, is it simply the content that should raise up righteous anger within believers?
