I could hear the trembling in her voice when I returned her call. “I took the abortion pill, and I am so sorry that I took it”, she whispered. “Is it true that we can reverse its effect?” Dr. Ingrid Skop is Medical Director of the Charlotte Lozier Institute and she recounts the story which ends with a healthy daughter born a little over seven months later.

Paul Asay with Plugged In shares about this familiar theme present in a lot of kids' movies which just might make viewers, especially the adults, a little misty-eyed. Is Hollywood out to make kids cry? Perhaps something else going on here. The over-arching question is, 'Why are so many great kids movies sad?' Is that a good thing?
