1: 25 Years of Shoes for Orphan Souls
Shawn Spurrier is the Director of Buckner International's Shoes for Orphan Souls which is celebrating 25 years of ministry. Shawn has been part of the team for the last 10 years and recounts the impact this event has on the lives of children and their families around the world. He also takes a moment to talk about the possibility of welcoming volunteer teams back to Oaxaca, Mexico in the future. CLICK HERE to participate in this year's event.
2: Marriage Relationships
When you think Marriage Relationships, you immediately think of strengthening the relationship between a husband and a wife. Gary Schneeberger with Focus on the Family is taking this idea a step further. He agrees it's important to focus internally on a marriage. But he is wanting married couples to focus on developing friendships as a couple with other couples and singles as well. Small group ministries at church are a great way to foster these vital relationships.
