The conversation returned to Adam's review of Poor Things prior to the Academy Awards, and Adam's prediction that Emma Stone would not only receive an Oscar, but would be applauded for her bravery upon taking on such a role. A role where the double standard of Hollywood is on full display; a role which reinforces the objectification of women.
