Hour 1: Child Evangelism Fellowship: A Ministry Update with Dawn Wassell
Do you long for children in our community to know and experience the Gospel of Christ? Local Child Evangelism Fellowship Director Dawn Wassell will join Seth and Deb to share how Good News Clubs bring the gospel to schoolchildren in our area and how you can help them! Dawn will update us on specific ministry needs and prayer requests as we seek to live out the words of Jesus, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14
Hour 2: It is Finished: A Conversation with Charles Martin
Why did God choose the cross to address mankind's problem of sin? How is the shed blood of Jesus relevant to me here and now? Lent begins this week and this morning Seth and Deb welcome bestselling author Charles Martin for a conversation on the significance and power of the cross of Christ. Charles shares a few of the "why" questions he has asked, what he discovered in his pilgrimage, and what Jesus' sacrifice means for us today.
