Love Has A Story
She set out to write a book about God’s extravagant love. It was supposed to be a 10 month project and then life blindsided Quina. And that brought her to the place where she thought God hated her.
Then, the book that should have taken 10 months took 4 years. In that time, the silence of God, and the lack of answers gave way to the comfort of God and a hard won assurance of God’s love, for her, for our world.
Quina Aragon, spoken word artist and author of Love Has A Story: 100 Meditations on the Enduring Love of God, invites you to explore God’s love as it has existed and moved throughout (and before) time, and how it intends to transform your own life story.
Quina’s book begins with a confession. She admits she’s struggled to forgive, struggled with lust, struggled with intense bouts of anxiety and depression, and with believing God hated her. Even as she wrote this book.
Shawna asks Quina, “Where does your strength to be vulnerable come from?”
Lastly, Quina leaves us to ponder, “Could you have the courage to believe love has a story, and you’re a part of it?”

Quina Aragon
Quina Aragon is an author, editor, and spoken word artist residing in Orlando, FL, with her husband and daughter. They are members of New Creation Fellowship. She is the author of the children's book trilogy, Love Made, Love Gave, and Love Can, which poetically retells Scripture's story through a Trinitarian lens of love. She is also the author of Love Has a Story: 100 Meditations on the Enduring Love of God, which invites you to explore God’s love as it has existed and moved throughout (and before) time, and how it intends to transform your own life story. This book, which can be read as one story or in 100 bite-sized pieces, features over 40 of Quina's personal poems, tracing God's love through her own life story. Perry LaHaie
Perry LaHaie's passion is to know Jesus and make Him known. “I’m all in with Jesus but not all put together. I need Jesus right now as much as I did when I first started following Him!” Perry says. In addition to co-hosting Perry and Shawna Mornings, Perry is a singer, songwriter, recording artist, and advocate for those who haven’t yet heard the gospel, especially those in the Muslim world. Born and raised in northern Michigan, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications and a graduate degree in Cross- cultural Communications. Perry also serves with Frontiers, a worldwide ministry to Muslims. Perry and his bride, Teresa, call Holland, Michigan home. They have two adult children, Kali and Taylor, and Taylor’s bride, Bri.
Shawna Beyer
Shawna Beyer has a way of telling stories that create personal connection— to her, to one another, and to God. She has been a homeschool mom, church planter, project lead for a consulting company, and church staff member. Though she’s been involved in ministry with her husband (Dan) in Iowa, Arizona, and now Michigan, she was born and raised in Southern California and as they say, “You can take the girl out of California . . .” She is mom to four grown kids (Bryn, Drayson, Eden, and Haven) who no longer need her but humor her anyway. Shawna is passionate about the rhythms we weave into the fabric of our lives to fall more in love with God each day. Healthy foods are her go-to, but she will abandon that whole track in a heartbeat for a homemade cinnamon roll like Grandma used to make.
