Chris Fabry LiveWe hate to admit it, but after years, sometimes even decades, of reading the same Luke 2 story of Christmas,—we lose some of the awe we ought to have when discussing the greatest miracle in history. As you slow down, engage your imagination, and enter into the stories of these women and men, you’ll see the most important character—Jesus Christ—with new eyes. Wednesday on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, author Daniel Darling helps us take a fresh look at the Christmas story by meeting the minor characters that played a part in Jesus’ birth, such as Zechariah and Elizabeth, the Shepherds, and Herod.
Grow close to the Lord this Advent season with 25 insightful and meaningful meditations from a devotional called The Christmas Code, which traces the birth of Jesus from its roots in the Old Testament to the ultimate gift of God: salvation. With a short devotion each day leading up to Christmas, this seasonal devotional is the perfect way to maintain a daily focus on the true meaning of Christmas. Wednesday’s guest on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, O.S. Hawkins reminds us that God's greatest gift--Jesus--is at the very heart of Advent, and each devotional thought will inspire you and fix your heart on the true meaning of Christmas.
