Chris Fabry LiveCaregiving is holy work. Caring for a loved one can stretch the heartstrings and the soul in equal measure, leaving caregivers to walk a path that is exhausting, isolating, stressful, and seemingly thankless. Tuesday's guest on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte has devoted most of her life to caregiving and understands the accompanying challenges, sacrifices, and rewards. In Caregiving with Grit and Grace, she offers solace for your journey and extends a heartfelt invitation to view your role through the lens of eternity.
How often do you feel like your words are falling on deaf ears? Most of us feel that way when we're talking to a spouse or perhaps our kids or even a co-worker or boss. Now is it possible we do the same thing and don't give others our full attention? Tuesday on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, FOTF licensed marriage and family therapist Glenn Lutjens suggests that even if we are listening with our ears, we might not be with our heart. How important is it to really hear the heart of what someone shares with you? How much can a personal relationship improve if we both listen from the heart?
