Hour 1: Cultural Update - with Mark Turman
On Tuesday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Executive Director of The Denison Forum, Dr. Mark Turman will share a nonpartisan perspective on what’s happening now and how Christians can respond biblically to the culture at large. Each week Dr. Turman will talk about a current article written by the staff at the The Denison Forum and bring biblical insight and practical applications to help Christians further develop a biblical worldview on current events.
Hour 2: Hope is Born: Living Between Two Advents - with Dr. John Koessler
As believers, we celebrate two Advents. The first rejoices in the events surrounding the Savior’s birth. The second remembers that this is not the end of our salvation story. Jesus has come. Even more, He is coming again! The theme for December's Today in the Word is Hope is Born: Living Between Two Advents, and Tuesday's guest on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Dr. John Koessler prays this study will help us look forward not only to Christmas but to the hope we have in Christ.

Mark Turman
Dr. Mark Turman is the Executive Director of Denison Forum and Senior Contributor for Leadership. Previously, he pastored four churches in Texas across thirty-four years, including twenty-five years as the founding pastor of Crosspoint Church in McKinney, Texas. He holds a D.Min. from Truett Seminary, an M.Div from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a BA from Howard Payne University.
John Koessler
John Koessler is an award-winning author and retired faculty emeritus of pastoral studies of Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Ill. He writes monthly columns for Today in the Word and Mature Living Magazine. John is the author of When God is Silent (Lexham), Dangerous Virtues (Moody), Practicing the Present (Moody), The Radical Pursuit of Rest (InterVarsity), The Surprising Grace of Disappointment (Moody), Folly, Grace & Power: The Mysterious Act of Preaching (Zondervan), A Stranger in the House of God (Zondervan) and served as general editor of The Moody Handbook of Preaching (Moody).
