Since we know that God is sovereign, we can look at one of the Hebrew names of God, which is "The Lord of Armies/Hosts". Why is that important? Another name of God in Hebrew comes from Psalm 121:4: "The Guardian or Keeper of Israel". Is it still true that God is the "Guardian of Israel?". And what is Biblical Hope? (And is this misunderstood in our English translations?)
Hour 2: Hurricane Milton Update - with Erik Salna
Communities in Florida are bracing for the impact of Hurricane Milton, which is preparing to make landfall as a life-threatening hurricane much faster than predicted. Thursday on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, meteorologist Erik Salna joins us this morning to update us on the conditions of this storm as of this moment. "Milton poses an extremely serious threat to Florida and residents are urged to follow the order of local officials," the NHC said.

Born in the USA, Melissa studied Hebrew in Jerusalem, then taught in England for over a decade. She now lives in Nashville, Tennessee with her husband and two children. She loves helping students to achieve their goals of reading the Bible in the original language, or learning to converse in Modern Hebrew.

Erik Salna is Associate Director for Education/Outreach and Meteorologist at Florida International Hurricane Research Center. Salna also has many years of experience as a broadcast meteorologist, providing live continuous coverage of hurricanes, tornadoes and flooding.
