Hour 1: When Faith Disappoints: The Gap Between What We Believe and What We Experience

Friday on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Christian apologist Lisa Victoria Fields shares how she understands the tension of relying on God in a broken world. While pursuing her calling in full-time Christian ministry—an often white, male-dominated vocation—she saw the contentions many people have with Christianity. In her book, When Faith Disappoints: The Gap Between What We Believe and What We Experience, Fields openly shares her own journey of disappointment as well as how God helped her to see her true identity in Christ, instead of receiving her identity from her ministry work.
