We often have good intentions with our finances but sometimes there are unintended consequences. Putting a child on a bank or investment account as an owner can cause tax and other issues. Even being generous can be a problem. How much do we help our kids or those in need financially? Monday on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, financial expert Glenn Zimmerman tells us that sometimes when we do more to help, we can cause problems. Even though buying a home is a good thing, stretching financially to do it can get us into trouble if anything goes wrong financially.

Glenn Zimmerman has been with Kenneth Frenke & Co. since 1996. Glenn is Vice-president of Kenneth Frenke & Co., manages the Atlanta office and regularly travels to South Florida to meet with clients. He lives in Atlanta with his wife Emily and their two terriers, Jackson and MacKenzie.
Colin Smith
Colin Smith serves as senior pastor of The Orchard with six campuses across Chicagoland. Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, Colin received his Bachelor of Arts in Theology and Master of Philosophy from the London School of Theology. Colin is the author of several books including The Ten Greatest Struggles of Your Life. He can be heard daily on the Open the Bible radio broadcast and at openthebible.org and openthebible.org.uk. Colin and his wife, Karen, have two sons and five granddaughters.
