Hour 2: A Short Guide to Church - with Dean Inserra
A common claim in modern American Christianity is that you don’t have to go to church to be a Christian. However, the local church was God’s design. The writers of the New Testament would find a Christian faith separate from the church to be unrecognizable. Our guest Wednesday on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Dean Inserra, has often said to his congregation, “There is more to being a Christian than going to church, but there certainly isn’t less.” It is God's grand idea to display his glory and provide the avenue for his people to flourish as his missionaries to the world.

North Hialeah Baptist Church is an exciting group of believers from many different ethnic and cultural backgrounds who are dedicated to spreading the message of Jesus Christ locally and abroad through worship, discipleship, and relationships.
The Young Adults Ministry is dedicated to reaching 18-26 year olds with life application Bible studies based upon God’s truth and principles, helping to build a bridge from youth to adulthood, anchoring a foundation in Christ, in preparation for life’s next phase. They meet every Wednesday night for worship and Bible study at 7 p.m.

Dean Inserra
Dean Inserra is the lead pastor of City Church in his hometown of Tallahassee, Florida. He is a graduate of Liberty University and Midwestern Seminary. Dean has previously authored four books and frequently works with the Send Network of the North American Mission Board. He and his wife Krissie have four children and are big fans of the local church.
