Friday on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Phil Stone, Special Projects Director of Christian Business Men's Connection joins us to talk about their upcoming Men's Retreat on June 28, 5:30 p.m. to June 29 ending at 2 p.m. at the Wyndham Deerfield Beach Resort. Each day there will be guest speakers, table discussions, worship time and free time to relax and enjoy. Friday evening speaker will be Jose Casas, Associate Pastor at Calvary Chapel, Miami; Saturday morning speaker will be Dave Balinski, CBMC National Director of Field Ministry; Saturday afternoon speaker will be our Mornings Show guest, Phil Stone, Phil Stone, CBMC, Special Projects Director.

Phil Stone
For 29 years, Phil Stone lived his dream calling play-by-play NFL Football and Major League Baseball for NBC Sports and hosted golf & most every Olympic sport for ESPN. In 1994, Phil wondered if there was more to life than travelling the world doing sports. That same year, a number of his close friends introduced him to a church fairly close to home in San Diego, and six months later he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. As Phil grew in his relationship with Christ, he wanted more men to experience the joy and excitement of knowing the Lord, so he organized and facilitated a men’s retreat for his church. On fire for Christ, Phil met Dick Bridgman, who, for 27 years, headed up CBMC in San Diego. After 32 years in San Diego, Phil moved cross-country to join CBMC, as National Director of Broadcast Production and Marketing, in July 2008. Phil has been privileged to lead his mother to Christ since then and has been involved with CBMC in South FL.
