Lisa Anderson, Director of Young Adults and Boundless at FOTF joins Mornings with Eric and Brigitte on Wednesday to talk about how to approach wedding season as a single and how to best support your single friends at these events. The reality that faces many singles during this season is a never-ending string of questions about their relationship status, desperately trying to find a plus-one, and torn feelings of being happy for the married couple while also perhaps being sad about your own love life.
Dr. Mark Jobe serves as the 10th president of Moody Bible Institute and as host of Moody Radio’s Bold Steps program heard nationally. He is the founding senior pastor of New Life Community Church, a multi-site church meeting in 27 locations throughout the Chicago area. He is also the founder of New Life Centers, an organization focused on helping youth in underserved areas of Chicago. Dr. Jobe earned a diploma from Moody Bible Institute in 1984, a master’s degree from Moody Theological Seminary, and a doctorate in transformational leadership from Bakke Graduate University. He is the author of What Now?: How to Move into Your Next Season (Moody Publishers). A passionate proclaimer of the gospel, Mark and his wife, Dee, have three adult children and two grandchildren.
