Faith & Finance LiveEvery marriage has its strengths and its stresses. There’s not one that can’t be improved, fine-tuned, made stronger — or even overhauled if needed. Friday on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Ed and Amy Uszynski, speakers for FamilyLife join us to introduce this transformative marriage resource designed to help you explore new levels of intimacy, communication, and connection with your spouse.
Friday on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Church United Executive Director, Eddie Copeland and CEO of the Luis Palau Association, Kevin Palau join us to talk about an upcoming Special Combined Gathering of Palm Beach and Broward County Pastors and Ministry Leaders on Wed. Feb. 28 at Christ Fellowship/Boynton Beach. This event is titled, "This Missional Moment: an invitation to engage today’s cultural questions with compassion and courage." It will be a morning of worship, prayer, and best practice learnings from leading national voices. Special breakouts are available for church staff, ministry leaders, and senior pastors.
Ed and Amy Uszynski have worked in various roles with both Athletes in Action (the sports ministry of Cru) and Family Life since the 1990s. Ed now serves as Senior Content Strategist for Family Life, while Amy ministers to athletes at Central State University. He frequently speaks to high school, college, and professional athletes, along with men’s groups and churches around the country. He has an MA and MDiv from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and a PhD in American Culture Studies from Bowling Green State University. Amy graduated from Trinity International University before joining the campus staff of AIA. She also serves on the National Women’s Leadership Team. Ed and Amy have four children and live in Xenia, OH.
Edwin (Eddie) currently serves as the Director of Church United — a trans-denominational movement that seeks to unify the Church for the sake of mission. Eddie firmly believes the Church is the hope of the world and has worked toward that end throughout his entire career. Prior to his time at NCF, Eddie served in executive level leadership and pastoral staff in both local Church and para-church ministries. His greatest joy is being married to the love of his life and high-school sweetheart Sara and being dad to his daughter, Anna, and son, Nathan.
Kevin Palau is the son of international evangelist Luis Palau. He joined the family business, the Luis Palau Association, in 1985 and began directing the day-to-day operation of the ministry in the late 1990s. Under his leadership, LPA has produced very large Christian events creating a worldwide network of hundreds of partner evangelists, and developed new models for citywide outreach that integrate major community service initiatives with open-air evangelistic gatherings. Today Kevin serves as C.E.O. of the Luis Palau Association, and lives in Beaverton Oregon with his wife Michelle, and their three young adult children. Kevin loves the Portland Timbers, Oregon Duck football and basketball and ice cream.
