Praise & Worship ChannelWith the holiday season approaching, many churches throughout the U.S. are turning their attention toward international missions. Some are preparing for collection drives, and others are planning out their winter break mission trips. Tuesday on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Elli Oswald, ED of the Faith to Action Initiative shares that whatever the form of international aid, it’s critical for churches to give and serve responsibly--in a way that doesn’t cause unintentional harm to the local communities. But this can be easier said than done, and a growing number of people are coming to understand the importance of providing aid responsibly.
Financial pain creates some of the worst stress we ever experience because it is intertwined with our relationships, hopes, and dreams. It is especially hard during holiday seasons. On Tuesday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Crown Financial Ministries CEO Chuck Bentley joins us to share an "Ask Chuck" question from a listener who made financial mistakes that led to a feeling of hopelessness and giving up. Chuck encourages this listener and all of us, knowing that we all make poor financial decisions at times, but there can always be hope for the days ahead.
