FamilyLife TodayDo we look at our current situations from a Kingdom perspective or are we concerned with how it will affect us personally? Join Dawn and Steve in the Morning as Steve shares a devotional from Blackaby Ministries International about the apostle Paul and his example.
Moody author Jasmine Mullen will tell us about her children's book Ben Washington is the Newbie on the Block, a story about friendship, faith, and finding God in the hard spaces of life. Jasmine is a writer and singer from Nashville, TN, and she was born to musical parents. Most of the time, Jasmine is writing songs or touring with her band, The New Respects, which she created with Zandy Mowry and Darius Fitzgerald. When she’s not creating music, she’s usually writing a story or daydreaming one up.
Steve welcomes Lindsey Medenwaldt to tell us about her book Bridge-Building Apologetics: How to Get Along Even When We Disagree, a guide to help us overcome relational barriers and graciously reach out to those with whom we disagree and to engage others effectively with the love of Jesus and the truth of Scripture.
Lindsey is the director of ministry operations at Mama Bear Apologetics and an adjunct professor at Northwestern College in Iowa. She engages extensively on the topics of apologetics and worldview as a writer, editor, teacher, and speaker. Lindsey and her husband, Jay, live in Iowa along with their daughters. In her spare time, Lindsey loves watching British reality television, especially The Great British Baking Show, and she’s an avid reader (Jay and Lindsey have an at-home library of more than 2,500 books!).
Chairman of Issachar Ministries (parent charity of Prophecy Today) in the UK, Nick Szkiler, will talk with Steve about his God story and his book Crossing Over.
