Trillia Newbell talks with Fellowship of Christian Athletes Director Mark Montgomery and Becky Brennan about the group's goal to make disciples through engaging, equipping and empowering coaches and athletes to know and grow in Christ and lead others to do the same on Living by Faith.

Mark Montgomery
Mark Montgomery grew up in South Mississippi. He moved to Tennessee after Hurricane Katrina and found himself serving Williamson County in ministry through the church, coaching and teaching. Mark’s transition into FCA after dedicating 20+ years to family, sports and ministry was an easy decision. As the Williamson County Area Director, he has witnessed God moving through FCA in Middle Tennessee and around the world through local school Huddle Groups, camps, retreats, and many other ways.
Becky Brennan
Becky Brennan has been a teacher and coach in Williamson County, Tennessee for 23 years. She taught health and P.E. to middle schoolers before retiring last year. She has coached multiple Cheer teams for more than two decades, including teams that have gone on to win that National title. She also judges local competitions. She is involved in her Church, Church of the City and on the board with Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Trillia Newbell is the author of several books including, A Great Cloud of Witnesses, Sacred Endurance, If God is For Us, Fear and Faith, and the children's books, Creative God, Colorful Us and God's Very Good Idea. She is the host of the podcast 52 Weeks in the Word and hosts the weekly radio program Living by Faith from Moody Radio.
When she isn’t writing, she’s encouraging and supporting other writers as the Acquisitions Director at Moody Publishers. Trillia is married to her best friend, Thern, they reside with their two children near Nashville, TN where they enjoy hiking and eating lots of bbq.
