Trillia Newbell talks with Sally Burke, President of Moms In Prayer International about how you can help disciple your children and encourage them in developing their own relationship with the Lord during these summer months and into the school year.

Sally Burke
Sally Burke is President of Moms in Prayer International. She is also an international speaker, teacher and author of Raise Them Up, Start with Praise, Unshaken and the Unshaken Study Guide. As a child growing up in Florida, Sally was fascinated with the space program and began her career as a space shuttle engineer with a Master of Science in Management. After her marriage and the birth of two children, Sally and her husband came to faith in Christ, and Moms in Prayer soon became a top priority. She and husband, Ed, now have four grown children, a son-in-law, two daughters-in-law and four grandchildren.

Trillia Newbell is the author of several books including, A Great Cloud of Witnesses, Sacred Endurance, If God is For Us, Fear and Faith, and the children's books, Creative God, Colorful Us and God's Very Good Idea. She is the host of the podcast 52 Weeks in the Word and hosts the weekly radio program Living by Faith from Moody Radio.
When she isn’t writing, she’s encouraging and supporting other writers as the Acquisitions Director at Moody Publishers. Trillia is married to her best friend, Thern, they reside with their two children near Nashville, TN where they enjoy hiking and eating lots of bbq.
