The ancient stories of God's faithfulness to the women of the Bible have been given new life in song. Trillia Newbell talks with singer and songwriter Rachael Lampa about the Faithful Project. It's a collection of songs about those ancient women and how God walked with them through their trials and triumphs and continues to do that for us today.
Singer and songwriter, Rachael Lampa, has seen music industry success since she was 14 years old with multiple #1 songs, 7 albums, and years of touring with the top Christian and Mainstream artists. She joined her siblings in forming a ministry in Nashville called People Loving Nashville which provides people who are experiencing homelessness both practical needs and resources, and consistent and genuine friendship and community. She's also involved in the Faithful Project, a collaboration of ministry partners that includes music, books, podcast and a tour of live events.
Trillia Newbell is the author of several books including, A Great Cloud of Witnesses, Sacred Endurance, If God is For Us, Fear and Faith, and the children's books, Creative God, Colorful Us and God's Very Good Idea. She is the host of the podcast 52 Weeks in the Word and hosts the weekly radio program Living by Faith from Moody Radio.
When she isn’t writing, she’s encouraging and supporting other writers as the Acquisitions Director at Moody Publishers. Trillia is married to her best friend, Thern, they reside with their two children near Nashville, TN where they enjoy hiking and eating lots of bbq.
