We know that prayer is important—it’s the lifeblood of the Christian life. But almost all believers find prayer to be hard. We start to pray with good intentions but can get distracted and experience discouragement or disillusionment in our prayer lives. Trillia Newbell talks with author Bill Thrasher about how we can avoid these distractions and sustain a meaningful prayer life that can bless us and help us fulfill our mission with God.
Bill Thrasher is a graduate professor of Bible and theology at Moody Theological Seminary and is a frequent speaker for churches and retreats across the country. His ministry interests include campus discipleship, singles ministry, and evangelism. He is the author of many books, including Believing God for His Best, A Journey to Victorious Praying, and How to Resurrect a Dead Prayer Life.
Trillia Newbell is the author of several books including, A Great Cloud of Witnesses, Sacred Endurance, If God is For Us, Fear and Faith, and the children's books, Creative God, Colorful Us and God's Very Good Idea.
