Our guest, Dr. Joe Bergeron, will use his medical expertise to examine the medical aspects of Jesus’ death and as well as the "hallucination hypothesis" which attempts to discount Jesus' resurrection. Robert Nash
Robert J. Nash is the pastor at Sawyer Highlands in Southwest Michigan. He graduated from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois in 2000. He went on to receive a Masters in Divinity at Bethel University and Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Dr. Joe Bergeron
Joseph W. Bergeron, M.D. is a specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. His extensive experience treating musculoskeletal injuries led to his interest in the crucifixion and cause of death of Jesus Christ. Dr. Bergeron's book, The Crucifixion of Jesus: A Medical Doctor Examines the Death and Resurrection of Christ explores the historical context of Jesus's time, political influences, the conspiracy to murder Jesus, archeological evidence, Roman crucifixion practices, and Jesus' cause of death. In addition, Dr. Bergeron analyzes hallucination theories that attempt to discredit the disciples' belief in Jesus's resurrection. Dr. Bergeron's in-depth descriptions and analysis provide new insights into the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Dr. Bergeron also shares his insights at churches, conferences, and universities.
