This often happens when believers fixate on their sins while forgetting what Christ has already done on their behalf at the cross. Sam Storms explains it this way: “What consumes us is what we have done by sinning. Dr. Sam Storms
Dr. Sam Storms (PhD, University of Texas at Dallas) is the founder of Enjoying God Ministries. He has spent more than four decades in ministry as a pastor, and professor. He was previously a visiting associate professor of theology at Wheaton College from 2000 to 2004. Sam serves as a member of the Council of The Gospel Coalition, and is a past President of the Evangelical Theological Society. Most recently Sam founded and serves as Executive Director for Convergence Church Network.
