Hour 1: Hope Unbeaten

On In The Market with Janet Parshall week we kicked off the new year with part 1 of our annual look back at the year that was. How do believers lovingly handle a culture that hates the message of hope that has been entrusted to them? Our guest helped us understand what is behind the cultural hatred many believers face and how to persevere and not back down when challenged in the public square. Narcissism is a toxic personality trait that can leave long lasting permanent scars on the lives of those it touches. Our guest, a respected expert on this dangerous personality, once again drew us to God’s word to provide comfort and guidance for those who are living daily with a narcissistic person in their lives. Once again we turned to our expert on national security to look at what we can expect as China continues to push its world domination agenda including its latest efforts to subjugate the democracy of Taiwan and the use of a social media powerhouse with direct ties to the Chinese military. As we kick off the new year, it is the perfect time to renew our commitment to examining the news we hear through the unchanging truth of scripture. Class in back in session as our favorite husband and wife team continue teaching us how to see the truth behind the confusion of the headlines of the week.

Hour 2: Faith Unbroken

On In The Market with Janet Parshall this week we finished off our annual look back at the headlines, challenges and controversies of the year that was. A respected pastor and radio personality pulled back the curtain of his personal faith journey to share what God has taught him about ending the power of sin in the believer’s life. He shared 3 important movements that lead to the true liberty that Christ promised to those who follow Him. We turned our attention to what God is doing around the world as we spoke to His faithful missionary to the people Iran who says that despite the rhetoric, there is fear in the government of that nation over the incoming President and his agenda as well as more and more people seeking the security of Israel and the intervention of the United States to secure their own peace and safety in that nation. Then we updated you on what is going on in the persecuted church around the globe and encouraged you to get a copy of the Voice of the Martyrs 2025 prayer guide to help you focus your prayers for these fellow believers on the front lines of hatred and persecution for their faithfulness to the Lord. We encouraged you with a peek behind the curtain of a new project that is creating a fresh way to share the good news with others. Our expert on human exceptionalism joined us once again for another enlightening discussion on the persistent agenda to diminish our humanity from the lofty place God has given it. He explained to us what “nature rights’ are and why some of the highest-ranking leaders in the United Nations support this idea. He also explained why some believe that the only way to prevent global warming is to embrace feminist ideals. As we wind down the first week of programs for 2025 we continue our commitment to helping you stand for truth by teaching you how to use the straight stick of truth to measure all the ideas coming your way in the marketplace of ideas.
