For 20 years, Melissa Briggs has been fascinated with the Hebrew language and how we can deepen our understanding of the Bible by returning to the original meaning of the text. She spent several years living and studying in Jerusalem and developed a love for the language and people of Israel.She has a M.A. from Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Israel. Her passion is to equip Christians with practical tools and new enthusiasm to dig into the Scriptures for themselves. Offering hope, encouragement and Biblical insights, Melissa believes every Christian could benefit from a better understanding of key Hebrew words: “There is great value in exploring the original languages of the scriptures, especially when it is the content of our faith at stake.”
Ruth A. Tucker (PhD, Northern Illinois University) has for more than three decades taught at colleges and seminaries, including Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and Calvin Theological Seminary. She is the author of many books, including From Jerusalem to Irian Jaya and Dynamic Women of the Bible.
