Hour 2: The Foundation of Hope

Once again we asked you to put pen to paper as we helped you lengthen your prayer list. On In The Market with Janet Parshall this week we kicked off the week with another enlightening conversation with our favorite missionary to Hollywood and the entertainment industry. Not only did she share some important names to add to our lists she also told us how to take part in a weekly global prayer call that has been going strong since the start of the pandemic. The we took another look at the persecuted church around the world as our regular guest shared more stories of men and women who refuse to bend the knee including a woman who continues to serve the Lord 20 years after her husband was brutally killed in their family home and pastors who are risking it all to share Christ with people who under the age of 18 despite it being illegal in those countries. How do you secure the foundation of your marriage for the long haul? We heard from a man who used his own marriage challenges to explain why so many marriage fail, how to build that strong foundation and the importance of true, biblical forgiveness between spouses. Once again we had another sobering conversation about China and its ongoing effort to bring the whole world under its oppressive rule. Our guest, an expert in national security, got behind the headlines of the Russian and Chinese jets flying over Alaska and why our national leadership is downplaying this saber rattling move. He also explained how followers of radical Islam are infiltrating the thoughts and actions of our own federal government.
