The cornerstone of our nation is the American family. On In The Market with Janet Parshall this week we had an eye opening discussion with a the former U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development who has been recognized across the nation for his humanitarian efforts. He explained who is targeting the family and why. He also explained how clearly stated Communist goals from 1958 are not only in place in the United States but thriving. One of the best things that ever happened to parents in the country was the COVID epidemic and the at home learning that students had to undertake because it exposed the kinds of teaching and indoctrinations that have been going in America’s classrooms for years. We spoke to a man who has dedicated his life to opening up parent’s eyes about the dangers in the classroom and why the School Choice movement is gaining steam across the country while it gives parents back their say over their child’s education. Same-sex acceptance has grown in our society and many advocates question the traditional biblical understanding about these issues even going so far to say that the Bible does not prohibit these relationships. Our guest combined her personal experience with clear biblical guidance to address some of the biggest arguments for acceptance including whether or not the term “homosexuality” was added to the scriptures in the 1940’s and what Jesus and Paul had to say about this matter. Our favorite family therapist joined us for an enlightening conversation about the health impacts of choosing not to complain and practicing biblical positivity. As another busy news week comes to a close, it’s time for another eye opening conversation with our favorite husband and wife team as they continue to teach us how to understand the news through the lens of God’s word.
On In The Market with Janet Parshall this week we kicked off the week speaking to your heart about difference believers often experience between their expectation of God and how He operates in their lives and what they actually experience from day to day. Our guest calls this difference the “expectation gap” and he helped us understand it better and discover how to make real, lasting spiritual progress in our lives. False teachers are good at what they do because their ideas subtly shave away at the power of the Gospel in favor of their own ideas with half-truths that give the appearance of sound doctrine. But our guest turned the spotlight on some of the most common false teachings out there today including the prosperity gospel and progressive Christianity. A teacher who combines his experiences as a cold case detective with an understanding of apologetics to explain the what the unsolved murders he has investigated taught him about justice, mercy, forgiveness and the eternal value of human life in God’s eyes. Our favorite Scottish apologist is back with more insightful discussion on the issues challenging the church today including why European acceptance of the trans agenda is slowing down while it is increasing in speed here in the America and how the abrupt end of the leadership of former first minister of Scotland has turned into on the faith of another parliament member being considered for that role. It’s time once again to turn a critical eye to the news of the week as we highlight the stories behind the headlines.
