The late Dr. David Stoop,Ph.D. was a psychologist and family counselor who worked with families and marriages for over 35 years. In addition to being a licensed psychologist, he was an ordained minister with a doctorate from the University of Southern California. Dr. Stoop was also a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California. He served as an adjunct professor at Fuller and taught courses associated with family therapy. Dr. Stoop was also co-host on the nationally syndicated radio and TV program, New Life Live. In addition Dr. Stoop authored over 40 books, and was the co-editor of the 12 steps Life Recovery Bible which has sold over 1.6 million copies. He went home to be with the Lord in 2021.
Dennis & Barbara Rainey are co-founders of FamilyLife, a subsidiary of Cru. Dennis serves on the board of directors of Dallas Theological Seminary and Barbara serves on the Christian Alliance for Orphans board.
