Our guest, a physician and lead author of the position statement will join us to explain.

Dr. Michael New
Michael New, Ph.D. is Senior Associate Scholar at the Charlotte Lozier Institute and Assistant Professor of Practice at The Catholic University of America. Additionally, he is a Fellow with the Witherspoon Institute, Princeton, New Jersey. Dr. New has both a Ph.D. in Political Science and a Master’s Degree in Statistics from Stanford University. He has served as a post-doctoral fellow at the Harvard-MIT data center and a lecturer at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. His articles have appeared in various peer-reviewed journals, three of which have examined the impact of state-level abortion legislation.
Dr. Jane Anderson
Dr. Jane Anderson, MD, FCP is a pediatric specialist with nearly 50 years of experience in pediatric medicine. She graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles/ Center for Health Science in 1975. She is a board member of the American College of Pediatricians and retired faculty in Pediatrics at University of California San Francisco.
