Hour 1: Strengthening Your Foundation

There is probably no greater challenge for parents than getting their kids started out on the right foot in life. On In The Market with Janet Parshall this week we spoke with an expert in childhood development about the importance of parents being present and active in their child’s life and why a stable home life is key to teaching kids about boundaries. A toxic type of theology is making its way into the pews of the church. We spoke to a respected apologist about the dangers of Deconstructionism. She gave a clear definition of what it is, its secular origins and how it is derailing the faith lives of people across the nation. Believers are never off the clock, so to speak, when it comes to opportunities to honor and glorify God in their lives, including in their work lives. Our guest taught us a new way to look at work, showed us how our work relates to God’s promise of heavenly rewards and how to transform your job, no matter what it is, into fertile soil for the gospel to grow and flourish. Listening to the news it has become pretty clear that Iran is behind all of the current unrest in the Middle East including supporting those who perpetrated the attack on October 7th of last year. And yet in the midst of all this international turmoil the message of salvation through Jesus Christ is spreading like wildfire in that nation. We gave you the opportunity to hear from a man whom God has called to life time service to the people of Iran as he shared his perspective on the current unrest in the region and how despite all the turmoil God is still mightily at work rescuing souls for His kingdom. At first glance a plan to be prepared should the world face another pandemic sounds like a good idea but our guest took us behind the wizards’ curtain to reveal the real intentions of this WHO plan and why we should ALL be very concerned about its implications to our national sovereignty and our freedoms. From unrest in the Middle East to the growing encroachment of AI in all facets of life, the news never stops. And neither does our need to view it with a discerning eye. Hour 2: Building Up Your Faith

On In The Market with Janet Parshall this week we offered encouragement to parents who are struggling with the real life issues surrounding how to love and support their LGBT+ kids without agreeing with their choices. Our guest, who herself has personally dealt with these issues, offered clear, biblically grounded guidance on finding the balance between truth and love and how to pray effectively for God to heal the breach in your family. One of our most respected teaching pastors joined us for a revealing conversation about Abraham from the Old Testament. Using scripture, he allowed us to see the real human being that God called to follow Him. And remind us that the God Abraham had such deep faith in is the same God who calls to us today. God is not afraid of hard conversations on tough topics but often we are. A respected bible teacher joined us for an enlightening conversation about the importance and best way to address the hard topics of life including suicide, adultery, LGBT issues and abuse. He showed us how to move away from fear to faith as we lean hard on God and His word to guide us in these difficult conversations. The importance of father in a boy’s life can not be underestimated. His presence or absence will reverberate throughout the son’s life and impact all of his future relationships. Our guest knows this journey very well. He shared his own story of growing up without a father as a palate to paint a picture of the damage that loss can create. Then he showed us how God can bring true, deep healing to that wound of fatherlessness that so many boys and men in the church are dealing with today. God’s word is not only spiritual, it is practical and that’s why we are once again inviting you to join us as we use the magnifying glass of the Word to get a better understanding of the truth behind some of this week’s important news stories.
