Our guest will argue that the foundation of those words is rooted in biblical truths. Join us as we discover what God’s word has to say about our character and how we apply those teachings to our lives today.
Hour 2: God’s Holiness
"We will always obey our Lord at all costs."" This is the opposite of the spirit of lawlessness, which despises authority and cultivates chaos, division, and destruction. And there is no doubt that lawless and unrighteous acts are on the rise throughout this country. In a time when unholiness is rampant in our homes, schools, communities, churches, and abroad, there are alarming concerns about these escalating acts. If we're not students of God's word, growing in his grace and love as believers, we can find ourselves vulnerable to the rise of unholiness because it can distort our minds, heart, and attitude. Join us as we discuss God’s holiness and man’s lawlessness.

Abdu Murray

He has authored several books including Saving Truth, Grand Central Question, Apocalypse Later, and his latest book, More than a White Man’s Religion. For most of his life, Abdu was a proud Muslim until a nine-year historical, philosophical, theological, and scientific investigation pointed him to the Christian faith. Abdu has spoken to diverse international audiences and has participated in debates and dialogues across the globe. Abdu holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School.

Carl Barrett is the Founder and Executive Director of Monday Blues to Sunday Pews Ministry, and author of God Values Our Daily Steps, God’s Guide to Freedom, God's Holiness vs Man's Lawlessness, God's People Count, and Searching for your Comfort Zone. He has served as a Mentor, Teacher, and Chaplain in multiple prison facilities and as an Instructor for National Fatherhood Initiative.

She has authored several books, including her latest, Buyer Beware: Finding Truth in the Marketplace of Ideas. Parshall and her husband, Craig, live in Virginia, and have four children and six grandchildren.
