In college, our guest found herself challenged to defend her faith, and the beliefs she knew to be true began to unravel. Today, she shares her journey of discovering the biblical Jesus and the key conversations that led her from the faith of her ancestors to conversion to Christianity. She will help us understand the nuances of the history and evolution of Mormon culture and we will learn to identify the vital differences between the Mormon and biblical plans of salvation.
Hour 2: Sharing Jesus with Muslims at Christmas
Imagine having no point of reference for the Christmas story. How would you share the story of Jesus’ birth with your Muslim friends? Our guest, a former Wahhabi Muslim from Saudi Arabia, will teach us how to compassionately share the message of the Good News.

Lisa Brockman is a writer, spiritual director, and missionary. Raised in the Mormon faith, Lisa met Jesus while studying at the University of Utah. A staff member of Cru, Lisa is passionate about her family, theology, spiritual formation, and Jesus Christ.

Al Fadi is a former Wahhabi Muslim from Saudi Arabia. He is the researcher, editor, writer, and translator for numerous ministries, including "Answering Islam," "Desiring God," and "JesusOnLine." Al is the founder and director of The Center for Islamic Research & Awareness (CIRA) with a focus on bringing awareness regarding Islam, building bridges with Muslims, training believers to reach Muslims for Christ and to provide expert opinion on issues related to political Islam and Sharia Law. He is a co-editor, co-author and contributor of "The Qur'an Dilemma" (English Book – Vol. 1) - a critical analysis book of the Qur'an.
