Dr. Dan B. Allender (Ph.D., Michigan State University) is a pioneer of a unique and innovative approach to trauma and abuse therapy. He and a cadre of others founded The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology in 1997, of which Dan served as president from 2002-2009. In 2011, he founded The Allender Center with his wife Becky and Cathy Loerzel. He is currently Professor of Counseling Psychology at The Seattle School, traveling and speaking extensively to present on trauma, sexual abuse recovery, love and forgiveness, intimacy, and related topics. He’s a popular podcaster with over 3 million downloads on The Allender Center podcast and the author of numerous books, including Redeeming Heartache. He and his wife, Becky, live on Bainbridge Island,where they enjoy time with their grandchildren and their three adult children.
Susie Larson is a bestselling author, national speaker, and host of the popular radio show Susie Larson Live. A two-time finalist for the prestigious John C. Chris Brooks is the senior pastor of Woodside Bible Church, a multisite congregation across the Detroit metropolitan area. Chris served for 20 years as the senior pastor of Evangel Ministries, a thriving 1,600-member church in the heart of Detroit. He also served as the campus dean of Moody Theological Seminary in Plymouth, Michigan. A popular Detroit radio host since 2005, Chris is the author of Kingdom Dreaming and Urban Apologetics. He graduated from Michigan State University with a BA in Finance, completed his MA in Christian Apologetics at Biola University, and graduated from the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree at Asbury Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Yodit, are the proud parents of six children: Christopher, Zewditu, Cameron, Judah, Sophia, and Christyana.
