Born and raised on the South side of Chicago—Grammy Award-winning, top-selling singer, songwriter, and musician—Jonathan McReynolds is celebrated around the world for his soulful voice, soothing tone, and honest, inspirational lyrics. Jonathan recently received the Grammy Award for Best Gospel Performance/Song for "One Hallelujah" alongside several other talented artists. In addition to the Grammy’s, McReynolds has won multiple awards including 15 Stellars, 4 Doves, and BMI’s coveted Songwriter of the Year. BMI recently awarded him with the Champion's Award, the first one in his genre, given to honor an artist in their prime who is shifting the paradigm of his industry.  Jonathan is a dedicated mentor and educator—most recently holding a position as an adjunct professor at the prestigious Columbia College. Committed to using his platform to encourage personal growth and spiritual development, Jonathan continues to be a light within the music industry and the world at large through intentional living, and integrity-based principles.  In May 2015, Jonathan attained his MA in Biblical Studies from Moody Theological Seminary. He is an official contributor to Huffington Post, and the founder of Elihu Nation, a nonprofit organization that promotes wisdom and has awarded $40k in scholarships. He was recently named a new member of Mensa, an international high IQ society, as well.

Roy Patterson

Roy Patterson is Community Relations Director at Moody Bible Institute and host of Music for Sunday and Urban Praise. He is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute and Trinity International University and is heard on Moody Radio. He is also a preacher, praise and worship leader and vocalist. Roy has served as a youth leader, senior pastor, and a substance abuse counselor. Roy has been married to his wife, Lynette, for over 40 years, and they have three adult children and three amazing grandchildren.

Chris Brooks

Chris Brooks is the senior pastor of Woodside Bible Church, a multisite congregation across the Detroit metropolitan area. Chris served for 20 years as the senior pastor of Evangel Ministries, a thriving 1,600-member church in the heart of Detroit. He also served as the campus dean of Moody Theological Seminary in Plymouth, Michigan. A popular Detroit radio host since 2005, Chris is the author of Kingdom Dreaming and Urban Apologetics. He graduated from Michigan State University with a BA in Finance, completed his MA in Christian Apologetics at Biola University, and graduated from the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree at Asbury Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Yodit, are the proud parents of six children: Christopher, Zewditu, Cameron, Judah, Sophia, and Christyana.
