Artificial intelligence is all around us, with uses in medicine, business, transportation and many other things. It also has uses in the church. Ed Stetzer talks with Gloo Ventures' Managing Partner Steele Billings and Biola's Michael Arena about the intersection of faith and this emerging technology and how churches can use it and help their congregations understand it.

Steele Billings
Steele Billings is the Managing Partner of Gloo Ventures & AI. Gloo is a tech company serving ministry leaders. He believes that pastors have a crucial role in preparing their congregations for the emergence of AI. Through the Gloo AI & the Church Initiative, pastors are being equipped to guide their people in navigating uncertainties and questions about AI.
Michael Arena
Michael Arena is the dean of the Crowell School of Business at Biola University. He is also the chief science officer and co-founder of the Connected Commons, a research consortium that brings together business and academic thought leaders to develop and apply organizational network solutions. Prior to joining Biola, Michael served as the vice president of talent and development at Amazon Web Services (AWS), and was also the chief talent officer for General Motors Corporation. Michael also spent two years as a visiting scientist with MIT’s Media Lab researching human networks and acted as a design thinking coach within the Stanford School for three years.

Ed Stetzer
Ed Stetzer, Ph.D., is Dean of the Talbot School of Theology at Biola University. He has planted, revitalized, and pastored churches; trained pastors and church planters on six continents; earned two master’s degrees and two doctorates; and he has written hundreds of articles and a dozen books. He is Regional Director for Lausanne North America, is the Editor-in-Chief of Outreach Magazine, and regularly writes for news outlets such as USA Today and CNN. He serves at his local church, Highpoint Church, as a teaching pastor. Ed and his wife Donna have been married for more than 35 years and are the parents of three daughters.
