In order to follow Christ's command to go make disciples, the church itself needs to be strengthened from time to time.  Ed Stetzer sits down with City to City Los Angeles' Larry Acosta and Rudy Paniagua to talk about the group's mission to start and strengthen 100 new multi-ethnic gospel-centered churches across Southern California in the next 2 years.

Larry Acosta is Executive Director and Multi-ethnic Church Planting Catalyst at City to City Los Angeles. Larry has also founded the Hispanic Ministry Center, Urban YouthWorkers Institute (UYWI) and KIDWORKS, a community development corporation that reaches and educates at-risk youth. Under Larry’s leadership, UYWI grew to a national urban leadership development organization- training next gen. ethnic pastors and leaders in over 32 cities across the U.S. In Larry's role as the Executive Director and Lead Catalyst for City to City Los Angeles, his vision is to see 100 multiethnic, Gospel centered churches planted or re-planted throughout Southern California by 2026.

Rudy Paniagua

Rudy is the Director of CTCLA Espanol, with a passion to build the church within the Hispanic community in Los Angeles.  Rudy is also Director of Coaching for Breath of Life. In addition to coaching, Rudy has a strong call to stand in the gap for marriages that are struggling and navigating different seasons of life. Rudy is an ordained ministered with the Assemblies of God.

Ed Stetzer

Ed Stetzer, Ph.D., is Dean of the Talbot School of Theology at Biola University. He has planted, revitalized, and pastored churches; trained pastors and church planters on six continents; earned two master’s degrees and two doctorates; and he has written hundreds of articles and a dozen books. He is Regional Director for Lausanne North America, is the Editor-in-Chief of Outreach Magazine, and regularly writes for news outlets such as USA Today and CNN.  He serves at his local church, Mariners Church, as a teaching pastor.  Ed and his wife Donna have been married for more than 35 years and are the parents of three daughters.
