The number of Christians leaving the church today is significant. Some no longer feel at home in their church community. Sean McDowell is an Associate Professor in the Christian Apologetics program at Talbot School of Theology, Biola University. Sean speaks at camps, churches, schools, universities, and conferences. He is the co-host for the Think Biblically podcast. Sean is the author, co-author, or editor of over twenty books including Chasing Love, The Fate of the Apostles, and "Evidence for Jesus: Timeless Answers for Tough Questions About Christ" and "Set Adrift: Deconstructing What You Believe Without Sinking Your Faith". John Marriott is a faculty affiliate of The Human Flourishing Program at Harvard University's Institute for Quantitative Social Science. He is the former Research and Program Coordinator for the Biola University Center for Christian Thought and teaches part-time in the Department of Philosophy at Talbot School of Theology. He is the author of five books on deconversion, including Set Adrift: Deconstructing What You Believe Without Sinking Your Faith. John is the Director of Cultural Engagement with the Renaissance Forum which focuses on connecting calling to culture for societal wellbeing.
Ed Stetzer, Ph.D., is Dean of the Talbot School of Theology at Biola University. He has planted, revitalized, and pastored churches; trained pastors and church planters on six continents; earned two master’s degrees and two doctorates; and he has written hundreds of articles and a dozen books. He is Regional Director for Lausanne North America, is the Editor-in-Chief of Outreach Magazine, and regularly writes for news outlets such as USA Today and CNN. He serves at his local church, Mariners Church, as a teaching pastor. Ed and his wife Donna have been married for more than 35 years and are the parents of three daughters.
