Carol Anderson grew up in Joliet, Ill., and came to know Jesus through the Jesus Movement of the early 1970s. She was greatly affected by the ministry of Chuck Smith and visited there often. Ultimately she joined a communal ministry related to Calvary Chapel, called Shiloh, and was part of it for several years. She attended Shiloh Bible School and some classes at Eugene Bible College. She got her basic communications education from Joliet Jr. College. Carol sold books for several Christian publishing houses and ministries including Tyndale, Shaw and the Conservative Baptists. When she was 50, a friend from Awana wanted her to come and teach their staff how to use various software on the computer. The friend saw that she could teach and she was right. Carol fell in love with corporate training. Her last job was with YMCA of Metro Chicago as a senior technology trainer.
