You might have heard of Corrie ten Boom. But what if you could TALK with her? On our next Chris Fabry Live, you’ll meet a guest who sounds just like Corrie ten Boom! The story of Corrie’s courage in a Nazi concentration camp will touch your heart—and fortify your faith. Best of all, you'll be able to call in with your own questions, too. Join guest host Jon Gauger and guest Gayle Haas for Chris Fabry Live.
For more than three decades, Jon Gauger has served with Moody Radio as a writer, producer, and host. He is rarely seen without a camera, shooting photos and video for Moody Radio and others. In addition to The Land and the Book, Jon is heard on Moody Presents, Today in the Word, the Praise and Worship Channel, and Majesty Radio. He has traveled to 38 countries as a journalist, speaker, or trainer. An award-winning narrator, Jon has voiced 75 audiobooks and has written If I Could Do It All Over Again and Kids Say the Wisest Things. Jon is married to Diana, and they have two grown children and six truly extraordinary grandchildren. The Gaugers love reading, camping (trailers, not tents), and great Mexican food.
As a a wife, mother, grandmother, teacher, dramatist/storyteller, conference speaker and prayer warrior, Gayle Haas is a nurturer who embraces the Biblical values of life and family. She takes great pleasure in developing and performing the dramatic monologues of various characters. Gayle currently portrays two main characters: Corrie ten Boom, a real-life Holocaust survivor who worked with the Dutch underground to provide refuge for Jews in Holland during Nazi occupation, and Grannie Carter, a make-believe elderly woman with an infectious laugh who sprinkles her stories of timeless truths with country humor.
Graduating from Western Illinois University with a Bachelor's degree in Home Economics and Consumer Education, she has taught in both public and private schools. Gayle and her husband, Dan, are long time residents of Aurora, Ill. After 40+ years of local church ministry, Gayle and Dan formed A Future and A Hope Foundation, NFP, to implement and share the Biblical principles of family life, community transformation and revival. They are both credentialed by Alliance International Ministries.
