Dr. Steve Gaines, senior pastor at Bellevue Baptist Church, is known as a man of prayer and a preacher of God's Word. Steve has pastored churches in Texas, Tennessee, and Alabama. He has served in many denominational leadership roles including president of the Southern Baptist Convention. Steve's wife, Donna, is also a vital part of ministry at Bellevue, teaching in Bellevue Women, serving with mission projects, and leading younger women in discipleship. Steve and Donna have four children and eighteen grandchildren. He is the author of Revival: When God Comes to Church.
