David and Helen Smallbone
David Smallbone is an artist manager, former record label executive, former musician, and caretaker to about 200 farm animals. He and his wife, Helen, have seven children together, three of which are GRAMMY-Award winning artist Rebecca St. James and four-time GRAMMY Award winning artists Joel and Luke of for KING + COUNTRY. He continues to manage for KING + COUNTRY to this day.
Helen Smallbone grew up in Australia as the daughter of a Methodist minister and the youngest of four children. Even though she grew up in church, her faith became real in her mid-teens when she committed her life to Christ at a Billy Graham Crusade in Sydney. At age 20, she married the love of her life, David Smallbone, and over the next 14 years, they added seven children to their family. Helen is the author of Behind the Lights: The Extraordinary Adventure of a Mum and Her Family, is co-founder of MUMlife, a ministry of "mothers uplifting mothers," and co-host of the MUMlife Community Podcast. David and Helen Smallbone live just outside of Nashville with a small menagerie of animals.
Rebecca St. James
Among the most defining artists in Christian music history, GRAMMY®-winning singer/songwriter, best-selling author, speaker, and actress Rebecca St. James rocketed into the global spotlight following the release of her self-titled Forefront Records debut in 1994. The Australian native's modern pop sensibilities and uncompromising lyrics set a benchmark in Christian music, leading a new generation of artistry in the genre. Rebecca has earned multiple Dove Awards, nine #1 Christian radio singles and two GOLD®-certified recordings, and her discography includes such iconic albums as Pray, God, and Transform.
Following a hiatus from recording and touring—during which time she married and started a family—Rebecca returned to the stage in 2018 to perform with her brothers, multi-GRAMMY® and Dove Award-winning duo for KING + COUNTRY, and co-wrote several selections on their blockbuster 2019 recording, Burn the Ships. Rebecca is also the host of the podcast "Rebecca St James: Friends and Family."
