Dr. John F. Kilner (Ph.D., Harvard) is Professor Emeritus of Bioethics and Contemporary Culture at Trinity International University, where he has held the Franklin and Dorothy Forman Chair of Christian Ethics and Theology. He was the first Director of Bioethics Degree Programs at Trinity International University and the first President of Deerfield(IL)-based Center for Bioethics & Human Dignity (CBHD), where he has been serving as a Senior Fellow. He has researched and taught in the fields of ethics and bioethics since 1973. Dr. Kilner has written extensively on human dignity. He co-authored the 2017 book Why People Matter and is the author of the award-winning 2015 book Dignity and Destiny: Humanity in the Image of God. He has also authored or edited 20 books on challenges in bioethics, as well as many articles. He has been featured in numerous interviews and debates on radio and television.
