On Thursday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, speaker, Ken Graves talks about one of the topics at the upcoming YA Conference to be held on August 18-19 at Calvary Chapel Miami. God has given us the tools to break the chains of addiction through His word. God’s word tells us: "No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation, he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13). Come and learn how to take the first steps towards freedom from addiction at this workshop.

All people have dignity because they are created in the image of God. On Thursday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, co-editor Lauren McAfee joins us to discuss how Created in the Image of God brings together leading experts to discuss what it means to be made in the image of God and to bring clarity and guidance for implications in the midst of our cultural confusion. The way the authors explore questions at the forefront of this cultural confusion and their helpful application to human dignity issues will help our world to regain a sense of the marvelous privilege that is ours as image bearers of Christ.

Ken Graves
Ken Graves is the founding pastor of Calvary Chapel Bangor located in Central Maine. For decades, Ken has traveled across the country exhorting men from the scriptures. Pastor Ken has also been actively engaged in residential discipleship, housing both men and women on the church campus and helping them find freedom from their addiction through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Lauren McAfee
Lauren McAfee loves God, and is passionate about seeing others develop in their spiritual journey. She wants to live intentionally to use her talents to bring glory to God. She cares that people know the truth about God so that He might be glorified and we might be transformed. She hopes at the end of her life to say that she lived for Kingdom impact. She spends her days working at the Hobby Lobby corporate office, and on nights and weekends she writes papers as she pursues a PhD in ethics. She is married to her best friend, and has the most amazing daughter she could imagine.
